For more than 20 years, Baird Capital Partners has made buyout investments in U.S.-based lower middle-market companies. We focus exclusively on the Business Services, Healthcare and Manufactured Products industries, where we have a deep understanding of the dynamics, trends and opportunities.
We invest $15 million to $35 million in companies with the following characteristics:
- Enterprise value of $25 to $125 million
- Greater than $5 million of EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization)
- A leading position in a well-developed, stable or growing industry
- Proven products or processes with key competitive advantages
- A demonstrated track record of profitability and the potential to grow revenue organically and/or through acquisition
Although we prefer investments that present controlling ownership positions in companies, we will make select minority ownership investments where our experience positions us to add value. Our typical investment holding period is four to six years. |
