Michael is Chairman of Baird Capital Partners Europe and its Investment Committee, and is closely involved with investor relations. Michael was previously a regional director with County Bank in Birmingham, where he was responsible for making, monitoring and managing investments in unlisted companies. During his early career, he qualified as a Chartered Accountant with Ernst & Young and spent time in industry with GKN.

Simon is in charge of the U.K. team and plays a key role in the business services sector team. He rejoined Baird Capital Partners Europe in 2002, having previously worked with the company from 1994 to 1998. In between, he spent four years at ABN AMRO Capital. Earlier in his career, Simon was involved in the planning and rollout of BBC World Service Television, and also worked as a strategy consultant. He holds an MBA, is a Chartered Management Accountant, and holds a first class honours degree in engineering and management. Simon is Vice Chairman of the BVCA.

Andrew is Managing Director at Baird Capital Partners Europe. He joined Baird in 1996 following the acquisition of North of England Ventures, where he had been responsible for managing the regional fund for the North East. Prior to joining North of England Ventures in 1993 he spent seven years with Price Waterhouse, latterly in corporate finance. Andrew has an Economics degree from Warwick University.
